How To Uninstall backintime-gnome On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall backintime-gnome just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just backintime-gnome

GNOME front-end for backintime (transitional package)Kali Linux 2017.1utils1.1.12-2
sudo apt-get remove backintime-gnome

This will remove just the backintime-gnome package itself.

Uninstall backintime-gnome and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove backintime-gnome

This will remove the backintime-gnome package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for backintime-gnome then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge backintime-gnome

Or similarly, like this backintime-gnome

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove backintime-gnome
