How To Uninstall budgie-indicator-applet On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall budgie-indicator-applet just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just budgie-indicator-applet

linuxApplication Indicator for the budgie-desktop budgie-desktop. The applet is intended to be used instead of the X11 system tray. It displays application icons corresponding to applications that support the AppIndicator APImisc0.3-1
sudo apt-get remove budgie-indicator-applet

This will remove just the budgie-indicator-applet package itself.

Uninstall budgie-indicator-applet and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove budgie-indicator-applet

This will remove the budgie-indicator-applet package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for budgie-indicator-applet then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge budgie-indicator-applet

Or similarly, like this budgie-indicator-applet

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove budgie-indicator-applet
