How To Uninstall ldap2dns On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall ldap2dns just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ldap2dns

LDAP based DNS management system from a LDAP directory. It can and should be used to replace the secondary name-server by a second primary one. ldap2dns reduces all kind of administration overhead: No more flat file editing, no more zone file editing. After having installed ldap2dns, the administrator only has to access the LDAP directory.Kali Linux 2017.1admin0.3.1-3.2
sudo apt-get remove ldap2dns

This will remove just the ldap2dns package itself.

Uninstall ldap2dns and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ldap2dns

This will remove the ldap2dns package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ldap2dns then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ldap2dns

Or similarly, like this ldap2dns

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ldap2dns
