How To Uninstall x11proto-kb-dev On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall x11proto-kb-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just x11proto-kb-dev

X11 XKB extension wire protocol for the XKEYBOARD extension, used to control all manner of options related to keyboard handling and layout in particular. It does not control the addition/enabling/disabling of keyboards; this is done with the XINPUT extension.Kali Linux 2017.1x111.0.7-1
sudo apt-get remove x11proto-kb-dev

This will remove just the x11proto-kb-dev package itself.

Uninstall x11proto-kb-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove x11proto-kb-dev

This will remove the x11proto-kb-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for x11proto-kb-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge x11proto-kb-dev

Or similarly, like this x11proto-kb-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove x11proto-kb-dev
