How To Uninstall x11proto-present-dev On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall x11proto-present-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just x11proto-present-dev

X11 Present extension wire protocol for the Present extension, which provides a way for applications to update their window contents from a pixmap in a well defined fashion, synchronizing with the display refresh and potentially using a more efficient mechanism than copying the contents of the source pixmap.Kali Linux 2017.1x111.1-1
sudo apt-get remove x11proto-present-dev

This will remove just the x11proto-present-dev package itself.

Uninstall x11proto-present-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove x11proto-present-dev

This will remove the x11proto-present-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for x11proto-present-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge x11proto-present-dev

Or similarly, like this x11proto-present-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove x11proto-present-dev
