How To Uninstall x86info On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall x86info just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just x86info

Display diagnostic information about i386 compatible CPUs compatible systems. This includes information on the CPU cache configuration, speed and supported features.Kali Linux 2017.1admin1.31~pre0.8052aabdd159bc9050e7dc264f33782c5acce05f-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove x86info

This will remove just the x86info package itself.

Uninstall x86info and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove x86info

This will remove the x86info package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for x86info then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge x86info

Or similarly, like this x86info

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove x86info
