How To Uninstall xautolock On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xautolock just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xautolock

Program launcher for idle X sessions program of your choice if there is no activity after a user-configurable period of time. You can use this to automatically start up a screen locker if you have left your computer unattended for some period of time. The program launched need not be a screen locker such as xlock.Kali Linux 2017.1x111:2.2-5.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove xautolock

This will remove just the xautolock package itself.

Uninstall xautolock and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xautolock

This will remove the xautolock package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xautolock then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xautolock

Or similarly, like this xautolock

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xautolock
