How To Uninstall xfce4-cpufreq-plugin On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfce4-cpufreq-plugin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfce4-cpufreq-plugin

cpufreq information plugin for the Xfce4 panel necessary. It also displays the frequency relative to the maximum CPU frequency as an accordingly colored progress bar.Kali Linux 2017.1xfce1.1.3-1
sudo apt-get remove xfce4-cpufreq-plugin

This will remove just the xfce4-cpufreq-plugin package itself.

Uninstall xfce4-cpufreq-plugin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfce4-cpufreq-plugin

This will remove the xfce4-cpufreq-plugin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfce4-cpufreq-plugin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfce4-cpufreq-plugin

Or similarly, like this xfce4-cpufreq-plugin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfce4-cpufreq-plugin
