How To Uninstall xfce4-power-manager On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfce4-power-manager just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfce4-power-manager

sudo apt-get remove xfce4-power-manager

This will remove just the xfce4-power-manager package itself.

Uninstall xfce4-power-manager and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfce4-power-manager

This will remove the xfce4-power-manager package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfce4-power-manager then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfce4-power-manager

Or similarly, like this xfce4-power-manager

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfce4-power-manager
