How To Uninstall xfig-libs On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfig-libs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfig-libs

XFig image libraries and examples manipulate objects interactively in an X window. The resulting pictures can be saved. If the fig2dev program is installed, which is contained in the fig2dev package, the pictures can be printed on postscript printers or converted to a variety of other formats (e.g. to allow inclusion in LaTeX documents or web pages).Kali Linux 2017.1graphics1:3.2.6a-1
sudo apt-get remove xfig-libs

This will remove just the xfig-libs package itself.

Uninstall xfig-libs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfig-libs

This will remove the xfig-libs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfig-libs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfig-libs

Or similarly, like this xfig-libs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfig-libs
