How To Uninstall xfonts-75dpi On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfonts-75dpi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-75dpi

75 dpi fonts for X most cases it is desirable to have the X font server (xfs) and/or an X server installed to make the fonts available to X clients.Kali Linux 2017.1fonts1:1.0.4+nmu1
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-75dpi

This will remove just the xfonts-75dpi package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-75dpi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-75dpi

This will remove the xfonts-75dpi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-75dpi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-75dpi

Or similarly, like this xfonts-75dpi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-75dpi
