How To Uninstall xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi

100 dpi KOI8-R encoded Cyrillic fonts for X (Cronyx collection) per inch. These are KOI8-R fonts and are suitable for Russian. In most cases it is desirable to have the X font server (xfs) and/or an X server installed to make the fonts available to X clients.Kali Linux 2017.1fonts2.3.8-8
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi

This will remove just the xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi

This will remove the xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi

Or similarly, like this xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-cronyx-koi8r-100dpi
