How To Uninstall xfonts-cyrillic On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfonts-cyrillic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-cyrillic

Cyrillic fonts for X servers. In most cases it is desirable to have the X font server (xfs) and/or an X server installed to make the fonts available to X clients.Kali Linux 2017.1fonts1:1.0.4
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-cyrillic

This will remove just the xfonts-cyrillic package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-cyrillic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-cyrillic

This will remove the xfonts-cyrillic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-cyrillic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-cyrillic

Or similarly, like this xfonts-cyrillic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-cyrillic
