How To Uninstall xfonts-efont-unicode-ib On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfonts-efont-unicode-ib just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-efont-unicode-ib

/efont/ Unicode fonts for X (italic and bold) which are encoded in Unicode. Though they are still under development, they contain various scripts including Latin, IPA, Greek, Cyrillic, Armenian, Hebrew, Devanagari, Thai, Lao, Georgian, Runic, Hiragana, Katakana, Hangul Syllables, and part of Arabic, Bopomofo, CJK Ideogram, and various symbols.Kali Linux 2017.1fonts0.4.2-8
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-efont-unicode-ib

This will remove just the xfonts-efont-unicode-ib package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-efont-unicode-ib and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-efont-unicode-ib

This will remove the xfonts-efont-unicode-ib package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-efont-unicode-ib then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-efont-unicode-ib

Or similarly, like this xfonts-efont-unicode-ib

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-efont-unicode-ib
