How To Uninstall xfonts-encodings On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfonts-encodings just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-encodings

Encodings for X.Org fontsKali Linux 2017.1fonts1:1.0.4-2
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-encodings

This will remove just the xfonts-encodings package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-encodings and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-encodings

This will remove the xfonts-encodings package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-encodings then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-encodings

Or similarly, like this xfonts-encodings

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-encodings
