How To Uninstall xfonts-intl-japanese On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfonts-intl-japanese just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-intl-japanese

international fonts for X - Japanese JISX0208.1983, JISX0208.1990, and JISX0212.1990 (HojoKanji) Japanese fonts. You will need these fonts if you plan to view, print, or author documents written in Japanese using the above encodings.Kali Linux 2017.1fonts1.2.1-10
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-intl-japanese

This will remove just the xfonts-intl-japanese package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-intl-japanese and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-intl-japanese

This will remove the xfonts-intl-japanese package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-intl-japanese then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-intl-japanese

Or similarly, like this xfonts-intl-japanese

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-intl-japanese
