How To Uninstall xfonts-kaname On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xfonts-kaname just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-kaname

Kaname Cho 12 dot Japanese Kanji, Latin 1 fonts for X11 for the X Window System. Its face has characteristic, and it is similar to Gothic. It provides 4 weigh: Medium, Bold, Italic and Bold-Italic. It also provides 2 spc: -p- and -c- for Japanese fonts.Kali Linux 2017.1fonts1.1-10
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-kaname

This will remove just the xfonts-kaname package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-kaname and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-kaname

This will remove the xfonts-kaname package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-kaname then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-kaname

Or similarly, like this xfonts-kaname

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-kaname
