How To Uninstall xkbind On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xkbind just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xkbind

X Keyboard Extension Indicator indicator of keyboard layout (XKB group) for the X Window System; it indicates current keyboard layout in the title of top-level windows via prefix to the original string. It also allows to simulate independent keyboard layout for each handled window and it works with most of the window managers, including twm, mwm and fvwm. WARNING: This program assumes the standard X input focus handling, so it will not work with some GUI toolkits.Kali Linux 2017.1x112010.05.20-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove xkbind

This will remove just the xkbind package itself.

Uninstall xkbind and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xkbind

This will remove the xkbind package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xkbind then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xkbind

Or similarly, like this xkbind

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xkbind
