How To Uninstall xloadimage On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xloadimage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xloadimage

Graphics file viewer under X11 rle, xwd, vff, mcidas, vicar, pcx, gem, macpaint, xpm and xbm files. Can view images, put them on the root window, or dump them. Does a variety of processing, including: clipping, dithering, depth reduction, zoom, brightening/darkening and merging.Kali Linux 2017.1graphics4.1-24
sudo apt-get remove xloadimage

This will remove just the xloadimage package itself.

Uninstall xloadimage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xloadimage

This will remove the xloadimage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xloadimage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xloadimage

Or similarly, like this xloadimage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xloadimage
