How To Uninstall xmds2 On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xmds2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xmds2

eXtensible Multi-Dimensional Simulator Differential Equations (ODEs) up to stochastic Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). You write them down in human readable form in an XML file, and it goes away and writes and compiles a C++ program that integrates those equations as fast as it can possibly be done in your architecture.Kali Linux 2017.1science2.2.3+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove xmds2

This will remove just the xmds2 package itself.

Uninstall xmds2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xmds2

This will remove the xmds2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xmds2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xmds2

Or similarly, like this xmds2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xmds2
