How To Uninstall xmlto On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xmlto just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xmlto

XML-to-any converter stylesheet for the conversion you want and applies it using an external XSLT processor (currently, only xsltproc is supported). It also performs any necessary post-processing.Kali Linux 2017.1text0.0.28-2
sudo apt-get remove xmlto

This will remove just the xmlto package itself.

Uninstall xmlto and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xmlto

This will remove the xmlto package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xmlto then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xmlto

Or similarly, like this xmlto

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xmlto
