How To Uninstall xplot On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xplot just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xplot

simple on-screen x-y column data plotter present either in a file or are generated `on-the-fly' and piped to XPlot. XPlot lets you display one or more datasets and lets you zoom to different sections of the sets. Also. `blowups' of the currently shown portion of the data can be made.Kali Linux 2017.1science1.19-9+b2
sudo apt-get remove xplot

This will remove just the xplot package itself.

Uninstall xplot and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xplot

This will remove the xplot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xplot then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xplot

Or similarly, like this xplot

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xplot
