To uninstall xplot just follow these instructions.
sudo apt-get remove xplot
This will remove just the xplot package itself.
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xplot
This will remove the xplot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
If you also want to delete your local/config files for xplot then this will work.
sudo apt-get purge xplot
Or similarly, like this xplot
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xplot
