How To Uninstall xserver-xorg-input-evdev On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xserver-xorg-input-evdev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xserver-xorg-input-evdev

X.Org X server -- evdev input driver kernel's event delivery mechanism. This driver allows for multiple keyboards and mice to be treated as separate input devices.Kali Linux 2017.1x111:2.10.5-1
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-input-evdev

This will remove just the xserver-xorg-input-evdev package itself.

Uninstall xserver-xorg-input-evdev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xserver-xorg-input-evdev

This will remove the xserver-xorg-input-evdev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xserver-xorg-input-evdev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg-input-evdev

Or similarly, like this xserver-xorg-input-evdev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xserver-xorg-input-evdev
