How To Uninstall xserver-xorg-input-libinput On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xserver-xorg-input-libinput just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xserver-xorg-input-libinput

X.Org X server -- libinput input driver It can handle keyboards, mice and touchpads, and essentially replaces the separate -evdev and -synaptics drivers.Kali Linux 2017.1x110.23.0-2
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-input-libinput

This will remove just the xserver-xorg-input-libinput package itself.

Uninstall xserver-xorg-input-libinput and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xserver-xorg-input-libinput

This will remove the xserver-xorg-input-libinput package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xserver-xorg-input-libinput then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg-input-libinput

Or similarly, like this xserver-xorg-input-libinput

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xserver-xorg-input-libinput
