How To Uninstall xserver-xorg-input-mouse On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xserver-xorg-input-mouse just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xserver-xorg-input-mouse

X.Org X server -- mouse input driver on non-Linux operating systems such as BSD and Solaris. Most configurations on Linux will use evdev, the kernel's event delivery mechanism, and do not need this package.Kali Linux 2017.1x111:1.9.2-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-input-mouse

This will remove just the xserver-xorg-input-mouse package itself.

Uninstall xserver-xorg-input-mouse and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xserver-xorg-input-mouse

This will remove the xserver-xorg-input-mouse package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xserver-xorg-input-mouse then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg-input-mouse

Or similarly, like this xserver-xorg-input-mouse

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xserver-xorg-input-mouse
