How To Uninstall xserver-xorg-video-intel On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xserver-xorg-video-intel just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xserver-xorg-video-intel

X.Org X server -- Intel i8xx, i9xx display driver of chipsets, including i810, i815, i830, i845, i855, i865, i915, i945 and i965 series chips.Kali Linux 2017.1x112:2.99.917+git20161206-1
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-video-intel

This will remove just the xserver-xorg-video-intel package itself.

Uninstall xserver-xorg-video-intel and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xserver-xorg-video-intel

This will remove the xserver-xorg-video-intel package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xserver-xorg-video-intel then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg-video-intel

Or similarly, like this xserver-xorg-video-intel

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xserver-xorg-video-intel
