How To Uninstall xserver-xorg-video-mga On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xserver-xorg-video-mga just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xserver-xorg-video-mga

X.Org X server -- MGA display driver including Matrox Millennium and Mystique cards.Kali Linux 2017.1x111:1.6.5-1
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-video-mga

This will remove just the xserver-xorg-video-mga package itself.

Uninstall xserver-xorg-video-mga and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xserver-xorg-video-mga

This will remove the xserver-xorg-video-mga package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xserver-xorg-video-mga then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg-video-mga

Or similarly, like this xserver-xorg-video-mga

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xserver-xorg-video-mga
