How To Uninstall xsettings-kde On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xsettings-kde just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xsettings-kde

XSettings daemon for KDE XSettings aware applications (all GTK+ 2 and GNOME 2 applications) to be informed instantly of changes in KDE configuration, such as theme name, default font and so on.Kali Linux 2017.1kde0.9-2+b2
sudo apt-get remove xsettings-kde

This will remove just the xsettings-kde package itself.

Uninstall xsettings-kde and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xsettings-kde

This will remove the xsettings-kde package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xsettings-kde then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xsettings-kde

Or similarly, like this xsettings-kde

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xsettings-kde
