How To Uninstall xspy On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xspy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xspy

X server sniffer X-Windows servers.Kali Linux 2017.1utils1.1-1kali2
sudo apt-get remove xspy

This will remove just the xspy package itself.

Uninstall xspy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xspy

This will remove the xspy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xspy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xspy

Or similarly, like this xspy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xspy
