How To Uninstall xul-ext-flashblock On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xul-ext-flashblock just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xul-ext-flashblock

Mozilla extension to block Adobe Flash content pessimistic approach to dealing with Adobe Flash content on a webpage and blocks ALL Flash content from loading. It then leaves placeholders on the webpage that allow you to click to download and then view the Flash content.Kali Linux 2017.1web1.5.20-2
sudo apt-get remove xul-ext-flashblock

This will remove just the xul-ext-flashblock package itself.

Uninstall xul-ext-flashblock and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xul-ext-flashblock

This will remove the xul-ext-flashblock package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xul-ext-flashblock then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xul-ext-flashblock

Or similarly, like this xul-ext-flashblock

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xul-ext-flashblock
