How To Uninstall xul-ext-nostalgy On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xul-ext-nostalgy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xul-ext-nostalgy

keyboard shortcut extension for Thunderbird selected messages into another folder, to add/remove/view tags; the selection of the target folder is made through an auto-completion box where you can type part of the folder name. sudo apt-get remove xul-ext-nostalgy

This will remove just the xul-ext-nostalgy package itself.

Uninstall xul-ext-nostalgy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xul-ext-nostalgy

This will remove the xul-ext-nostalgy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xul-ext-nostalgy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xul-ext-nostalgy

Or similarly, like this xul-ext-nostalgy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xul-ext-nostalgy
