How To Uninstall xwatch On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall xwatch just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xwatch

logfile monitor that displays in an X window. get to see what's going on _during_ say a break-in, instead of having to check the logfiles after the damage is done. Of course, you need to have the syslog daemons configured right, so that the logfiles are created. Xwatch reads options from its commandline as well as from a app-defaults resource file.Kali Linux 2017.1admin2.11-15+b2
sudo apt-get remove xwatch

This will remove just the xwatch package itself.

Uninstall xwatch and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xwatch

This will remove the xwatch package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xwatch then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xwatch

Or similarly, like this xwatch

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xwatch
