How To Uninstall picon-usenix On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall picon-usenix just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just picon-usenix

linuxPicon (Personal Images) db of Usenix conference attendees images used to represent users and domains on the net, organized into databases so that the appropriate image for a given e-mail address can be found. Besides users and domains, there are picons databases for Usenet newsgroups and weather forecasts. The picons are in either monochrome XBM format or color XPM and GIF formats.non-free/graphics1995.04.13-9
sudo apt-get remove picon-usenix

This will remove just the picon-usenix package itself.

Uninstall picon-usenix and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove picon-usenix

This will remove the picon-usenix package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for picon-usenix then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge picon-usenix

Or similarly, like this picon-usenix

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove picon-usenix
