How To Uninstall picon-users On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall picon-users just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just picon-users

Picon (Personal Images) database of individual Internet accounts images used to represent users and domains on the net, organized into databases so that the appropriate image for a given e-mail address can be found. Besides users and domains, there are picons databases for Usenet newsgroups and weather forecasts. The picons are in either monochrome XBM format or color XPM and GIF formats.Kali Linux 2017.1non-free/graphics2017.01.02-1
sudo apt-get remove picon-users

This will remove just the picon-users package itself.

Uninstall picon-users and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove picon-users

This will remove the picon-users package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for picon-users then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge picon-users

Or similarly, like this picon-users

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove picon-users
