How To Uninstall apturl-kde On Linux Mint 17

To uninstall apturl-kde just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apturl-kde

install packages using the apt protocol - KDE frontend apt-protocol) as a command line option, parses it and carries out the operations that the URL describes (that is, it asks the user if he wants the indicated packages to be installed and if the answer is positive does so for him).Linux Mint 17admin0.4.1ubuntu4.1mint1
sudo apt-get remove apturl-kde

This will remove just the apturl-kde package itself.

Uninstall apturl-kde and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apturl-kde

This will remove the apturl-kde package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apturl-kde then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apturl-kde

Or similarly, like this apturl-kde

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apturl-kde
