How To Uninstall gedit-plugins On Linux Mint 17

To uninstall gedit-plugins just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just gedit-plugins

set of plugins for geditLinux Mint 17gnome2.30.1
sudo apt-get remove gedit-plugins

This will remove just the gedit-plugins package itself.

Uninstall gedit-plugins and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gedit-plugins

This will remove the gedit-plugins package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for gedit-plugins then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge gedit-plugins

Or similarly, like this gedit-plugins

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gedit-plugins
