How To Uninstall gnome-screenshot On Linux Mint 17

To uninstall gnome-screenshot just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just gnome-screenshot

sudo apt-get remove gnome-screenshot

This will remove just the gnome-screenshot package itself.

Uninstall gnome-screenshot and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gnome-screenshot

This will remove the gnome-screenshot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for gnome-screenshot then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge gnome-screenshot

Or similarly, like this gnome-screenshot

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gnome-screenshot
