How To Uninstall firefox-globalmenu On Linux Mint 17.1

To uninstall firefox-globalmenu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firefox-globalmenu

Safe and easy web browser from Mozilla (transitional package) It can be safely removedLinux Mint 17.1oldlibs54.0+linuxmint2+rosa
sudo apt-get remove firefox-globalmenu

This will remove just the firefox-globalmenu package itself.

Uninstall firefox-globalmenu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firefox-globalmenu

This will remove the firefox-globalmenu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firefox-globalmenu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firefox-globalmenu

Or similarly, like this firefox-globalmenu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firefox-globalmenu
