How To Uninstall caja-extensions-dbg On Linux Mint 18.2

To uninstall caja-extensions-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just caja-extensions-dbg

Caja extensions (debugging symbols) package adds extended functionality to the Caja file manager.Linux Mint 18.2debug1.18.1-1+sonya
sudo apt-get remove caja-extensions-dbg

This will remove just the caja-extensions-dbg package itself.

Uninstall caja-extensions-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove caja-extensions-dbg

This will remove the caja-extensions-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for caja-extensions-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge caja-extensions-dbg

Or similarly, like this caja-extensions-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove caja-extensions-dbg
