How To Uninstall cinnamon-desktop-data On Linux Mint 18.2

To uninstall cinnamon-desktop-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cinnamon-desktop-data

Common files for Cinnamon desktop apps apps (i18n files and configuration schemas).Linux Mint 18.2x113.4.2+sonya
sudo apt-get remove cinnamon-desktop-data

This will remove just the cinnamon-desktop-data package itself.

Uninstall cinnamon-desktop-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cinnamon-desktop-data

This will remove the cinnamon-desktop-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cinnamon-desktop-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cinnamon-desktop-data

Or similarly, like this cinnamon-desktop-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cinnamon-desktop-data
