How To Uninstall backfire-dkms On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall backfire-dkms just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just backfire-dkms

kernel module for signal benchmarking (DKMS) benchmark kernel to userspace signal generation.Parrot 3.7kernel1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove backfire-dkms

This will remove just the backfire-dkms package itself.

Uninstall backfire-dkms and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove backfire-dkms

This will remove the backfire-dkms package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for backfire-dkms then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge backfire-dkms

Or similarly, like this backfire-dkms

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove backfire-dkms
