To uninstall eclipse-platform-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eclipse-platform-data

Eclipse platform without development plug-ins (data) nothing in particular. It provides a foundation for constructing and running integrated software-development tools. The Eclipse Platform allows tool builders to independently develop tools that integrate with other people's tools so seamlessly you can't tell where one tool ends and another starts.Parrot 3.7devel3.8.1-10
sudo apt-get remove eclipse-platform-data

This will remove just the eclipse-platform-data package itself.

Uninstall eclipse-platform-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eclipse-platform-data

This will remove the eclipse-platform-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eclipse-platform-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eclipse-platform-data

Or similarly, like this eclipse-platform-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eclipse-platform-data
