How To Uninstall eclipse-platform On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall eclipse-platform just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eclipse-platform

Eclipse platform without development plug-ins nothing in particular. It provides a foundation for constructing and running integrated software-development tools. The Eclipse Platform allows tool builders to independently develop tools that integrate with other people's tools so seamlessly you can't tell where one tool ends and another starts.Parrot 3.7devel3.8.1-10
sudo apt-get remove eclipse-platform

This will remove just the eclipse-platform package itself.

Uninstall eclipse-platform and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eclipse-platform

This will remove the eclipse-platform package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eclipse-platform then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eclipse-platform

Or similarly, like this eclipse-platform

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eclipse-platform
