To uninstall halibut just follow these instructions.
sudo apt-get remove halibut
This will remove just the halibut package itself.
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove halibut
This will remove the halibut package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
If you also want to delete your local/config files for halibut then this will work.
sudo apt-get purge halibut
Or similarly, like this halibut
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove halibut
