How To Uninstall idecrypt On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall idecrypt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just idecrypt

decrypt an encrypted response from pidentd encrypted responses from a pidentd server with DES encryption turned on.Parrot 3.7utils3.0.19.ds1-8
sudo apt-get remove idecrypt

This will remove just the idecrypt package itself.

Uninstall idecrypt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove idecrypt

This will remove the idecrypt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for idecrypt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge idecrypt

Or similarly, like this idecrypt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove idecrypt
