How To Uninstall idlestat On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall idlestat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just idlestat

measure CPU time in idle and operating states P-state transitions of CPUs over a time interval. It calculates the total, average, min and max times spend in each C-state, P-state for each CPU and in each CPU cluster. It also reports the times specific IRQs caused the CPU to exit idle state, per CPU and per-IRQ.Parrot 3.7admin0.8-1
sudo apt-get remove idlestat

This will remove just the idlestat package itself.

Uninstall idlestat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove idlestat

This will remove the idlestat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for idlestat then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge idlestat

Or similarly, like this idlestat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove idlestat
