How To Uninstall v86d On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall v86d just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just v86d

daemon to run x86 code in an emulated environment x86 BIOS code. The code is executed in a controlled environment and the results are passed back to the kernel via the netlink interface.Parrot 3.7utils0.1.10-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove v86d

This will remove just the v86d package itself.

Uninstall v86d and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove v86d

This will remove the v86d package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for v86d then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge v86d

Or similarly, like this v86d

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove v86d
