How To Uninstall firmware-bnx2 On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall firmware-bnx2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firmware-bnx2

Binary firmware for Broadcom NetXtremeII adapters supported by the bnx2 driver.Parrot 3.7non-free/kernel20170404-0parrot0
sudo apt-get remove firmware-bnx2

This will remove just the firmware-bnx2 package itself.

Uninstall firmware-bnx2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firmware-bnx2

This will remove the firmware-bnx2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firmware-bnx2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firmware-bnx2

Or similarly, like this firmware-bnx2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firmware-bnx2
