How To Uninstall intel-microcode On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall intel-microcode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just intel-microcode

Processor microcode firmware for Intel CPUs Intel i686 and Intel X86-64 processors. Intel releases microcode updates to correct processor behavior as documented in the respective processor specification updates.Parrot 3.7non-free/admin3.20170707.1
sudo apt-get remove intel-microcode

This will remove just the intel-microcode package itself.

Uninstall intel-microcode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove intel-microcode

This will remove the intel-microcode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for intel-microcode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge intel-microcode

Or similarly, like this intel-microcode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove intel-microcode
