How To Uninstall libmetis-edf4.1 On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall libmetis-edf4.1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libmetis-edf4.1

linuxFamily of Multilevel Partitioning Algorithmsnon-free/libs4.1-2-3
sudo apt-get remove libmetis-edf4.1

This will remove just the libmetis-edf4.1 package itself.

Uninstall libmetis-edf4.1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libmetis-edf4.1

This will remove the libmetis-edf4.1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libmetis-edf4.1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libmetis-edf4.1

Or similarly, like this libmetis-edf4.1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libmetis-edf4.1
